The present invention relates to a method for enzymatically synthesizing phenolic compound-O-aryl alpha-glycoside, which includes a step of producing phenolic compound-O-aryl alpha-glycoside by culturing a sugar donor and a phenol compound as a sugar acceptor in the presence of mutated enzyme of alpha-glucosidase of which an acid/base catalytic residue is substituted with an inactivate amino acid residue, thereby producing phenolic compound-O-aryl alpha-glycoside.
