The present invention relates to a theater simulation apparatus. The theater simulation apparatus includes: an image input unit inputting an image; a motion detection unit detecting a motion of a user; an image control unit controlling an image based on the motion detected by the motion detection unit and generating and changing a three-dimensional image implementing a virtual theater based on at least one of theater information and user input information; and an image output unit outputting the three-dimensional image implementing the virtual theater to a display device. The image control unit enables the inputted image to be shown in the virtual theater. Therefore, the efficiency of the production of image content can be increased.
