PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can set image quality a user likes, in addition to tone correction according to a brightness histogram of an imaged image.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a user setting unit 50 which accepts from the user a setting of the correction intensity of tone correction, to send a parameter to determine a coordinate value of a control point on a correction curve according to the correction intensity. The imaging apparatus generates the correction curve on the basis of the brightness histogram acquired from image data, to determine the coordinate value of the control point on the correction curve, according to the parameter sent from the user setting unit 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
