PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-based digital printing system for printing a high quality image.SOLUTION: An ink-based digital printing system 100 is equipped with: a liquid reservoir 120 for accumulating a transparent UV curable liquid 125; an intermediate image formation member 135 having a surface which receives the transparent UV curable liquid 125 via transfer rollers 110, 130; a curing device 140 which partially cures a UV curable liquid layer 115 which is formed on a surface of the intermediate image formation member 135; a print head 145 which forms an image 155 on a surface of the UV curable liquid layer 115; a heater 160; and a pressure roller 170 which transfers the image 155 formed on the intermediate image formation member 135 and a base material layer 115 onto an image receiving medium substrate 165.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
