摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device that can enhance conveyance speed of a recording medium and correct displacement of recording positions while enhancing a through-put.SOLUTION: A head has at least two nozzle rows arranged in a first direction, and each row includes a plurality of nozzles arrayed along a second direction. A recording device comprises means that selects non-driven nozzles and driven nozzles of each row for every column data of recording data, means that conveys a lengthy sheet in the first direction, and a unit. The unit determines recording data which are allocated to each row so that driven nozzles of the other row record dots corresponding to the non-driven nozzles of each row; records an adjustment pattern for each predetermined region of the sheet by driving the head; acquires displacement amounts of recording positions between the rows by reading out the adjustment pattern, and inserts empty column data corresponding to the displacement amounts into the recording data; and selects newly the driven nozzles and the non-driven nozzles, and distributes the recording data to each row so that the driven nozzles perform recording corresponding to the recording data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
