PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional panel setting structure that is applicable to a new or existing roof and less likely to reduce usable area of a roof surface.SOLUTION: A functional panel setting structure is a structure for setting a functional panel 2 for using solar energy on a roof 1. The functional panel 2 is set on at least one roof surface 8 of two roof surfaces 8, 18 that are tilted while sandwiching the roof 1's ridge 20; a fixation member 12 is provided on a ridge cover member 4 for covering the ridge 20. The functional panel 2 is set close to the ridge cover member 4 by a ridge side end of the functional panel 2 being fixed to the fixation member 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
