PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure governor having high practicality suitable for a vehicular hydraulic braking system.SOLUTION: A pressure governor 24 comprises (a) two energizing mechanisms 134 and 142 each of which energizes a spool 120 constituting a spool valve mechanism 122 toward another end side thereof with two pilot pressures, and (b) a reverse direction energizing mechanism 156 which energizes the spool toward the one end side with the pressure of hydraulic fluid supplied from the pressure governor. The reverse direction energizing mechanism is configured to have a reverse direction energizing piston 144 which presses the spool toward the one end side. To increase an energizing force by the pilot pressures, the energizing force opposing the pilot pressures can be easily increased by increasing a pressure receiving area with respect to the adjustment pressure of the piston. While keeping the diameter of the spool small, the pressure governor with good responsiveness can be realized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
