PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidoreductase which can use oxygen for redox reactions, and to provide a production method for a furan ring compound using the enzyme.SOLUTION: The invention provides an oxidoreductase having a certain specific amino acid sequence, or an amino acid sequence encoded by a certain specific nucleotide sequence; and a production method for 2,5-furan-dicarboxylic acid (FDCA) or 5-hydroxymethyl-2-furancarboxylic acid (HMF acid) using the above oxidoreductase.SELECTED DRAWING: None
