PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a military or other application helmet requiring resistance force against high energy debris and rifle bullet.SOLUTION: A helmet shell 100 has six kinds of material. An inner layer 2 and an outer layer 12 can be made of shock absorbent material layer [for example, independence air-bubble foam] or a material layer of other protective functions such as moisture-resistance and/or fire-resistance independently or in combination with impact resistance. An outer layer 8 having ceramic [in a form of monolith or many discrete plates) is arranged near outside of the helmet shell rather than an inner backing material 4 having a plurality of fibrous layers. Adhering layers 6, 10 are indicated between the inner backing material 4 and the outer layer 8 and between the outer layer 8 and the outer layer 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
