RETREAT SUPPRESSION MECHANISM OF PEDAL ARM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retreat suppression mechanism of a pedal arm capable of reliably suppressing the retreat of the pedal arm without being influenced by a retreat amount of a column shaft and also capable of eliminating a deviation of timing between an engagement release and a retreat suppression.SOLUTION: A retreat suppression mechanism of a pedal arm is constituted of: an urging member (a spring 118 a) for urging a pedal arm 102b to a vehicle front; a link mechanism 110 for cancelling an urging force by the urging member rotatably engaged with a pedal axis 106; and a trigger 120 rotatably mounted on a pedal bracket and approaching the link mechanism and the pedal arm with a vehicle rear side pushed. A trigger includes an engagement release part 122 for releasing the engagement with the pedal axis by abutting against the mechanisms; and an arm pressing part 124 for pressing the pedal arm to the vehicle front direction by abutting against the pedal arm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
