According to the present invention, disclosed is a door latch for a vehicle which has enhanced structural stiffness. The door latch for the vehicle in the present invention comprises: a base plate having a first movement groove part to induce a movement of a striker, and fixated to a door; a latch gear mounted on the base plate to be rotatable, locking the striker inserted through the first movement groove part; a reinforcing plate mounted to be parallel to the base plate with respect to the latch gear, having a second movement groove part which faces the first movement groove part; and a pawl mounted to be rotatable between the base plate and the reinforcing plate, and engaging with the latch gear to restrict a rotation of the latch gear. |
