PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polymorphic forms of 3-(4-amino-1-oxo-1,3 dihydro-isoindol-2-yl)-piperidine-2,6-dione.SOLUTION: This invention encompasses polymorphs of 3-(4-amino-1-oxo-1,3 dihydro-isoindol-2-yl)-piperidine-2,6-dione. In certain aspects, the invention provides polymorphs of the compound identified in the specification as forms A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H. The invention also encompasses mixtures of these forms.
