PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool capable of driving respective movable bodies for moving in the X, Y, and Z axis directions by gravity center driving.SOLUTION: A longitudinal driving device 13 for movably supporting both left-right sides of a longitudinal saddle 9 freely movable in the longitudinal direction by left-right sidewalls 5L and 5R erected on a bed 3 and moving the longitudinal saddle 9 in the longitudinal direction, is provided on the left-right sidewalls 5L and 5R, and a lateral saddle 25 freely movable in the lateral direction is provided in the longitudinal saddle 9, and a lateral driving device 45 for moving the lateral saddle 25 in the lateral direction is provided in the longitudinal saddle 9 in both front-rear sides of the lateral saddle 25, and a vertical slider 51 having in a lower part a processing head 62 for freely detachably replacing a processing tool 69, is vertically movably provided in the lateral saddle 25, and a vertical driving device 57 for vertically moving the vertical slider 51, is provided in the lateral saddle 25 on both left-right sides or both front-rear sides of the vertical slider 51, and the lateral driving device 13 arranged on both front-rear sides of the lateral saddle 25, is provided in a level difference state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
