PURPOSE:To make measurement with high sensitivity without complication the mechanism of the instrument by lowering the flow rate for feeding a buffer soln. or stopping the feeding and detecting the material to be detected by an enzyme electrode at the point of the time when a sample is fed to a detecting part or near this part, then increasing the flow rate for feeding the soln. or resuming the feeding. CONSTITUTION:The sample is injected into the buffer soln. under feeding to send the sample to the detecting part where the enzyme electrode is used as a working electrode to detect the material to be inspected in the sample. The flow rate for feeding the buffer soln. is lowered or the feeding is stopped and the material to be detected is detected by the enzyme electrode at the point of the time when the sample is fed to the detecting part or near this part. The flow rate for feeding the soln. is thereafter increased or the feeding is resumed. The measurement is thus easily made with the high sensitivity without complicating the constituting parts of the instrument in this way and the multiple functioning is possible. |
