Disclosed are an extension system of an extendable sofa and an extendable sofa. The extension system comprises an extension device, and the extension device comprises a bottom fixing part (20), a support (12), a swing rod (18), a first multi-linkage mechanism and a second multi-linkage mechanism, wherein the bottom fixing part (20) is used for fixedly mounting to a sofa base frame; the support (12) is used to support a sofa seat; the swing rod (18) is rotatably connected to the support (12) via the first multi-linkage mechanism, and the swing rod (18) is rotatably connected to the bottom fixing part (20) via the second multi-linkage mechanism; the second multi-linkage mechanism is configured to enable the swing rod (18) to move generally in parallel relative to the bottom fixing part (20); and the first multi-linkage mechanism is configured to enable the translational motion of the swing rod (18) to be transferred to the support (12), such that the support (12) moves generally in parallel relative to the bottom fixing part (20). The extension system solves the problem of shaking when extending an extendable sofa, and the linkage mechanisms are used, thus improving synchronicity and reducing manufacturing difficulties and maintenance costs. |
