PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment composition comprising a quinacridone pigment and a monoazo pigment, which develops a clear hue with a high chroma as a colorant for a toner or an inkjet ink.SOLUTION: The pigment composition comprises a quinacridone pigment and a monoazo pigment, which is obtained by adding the monoazo pigment during a dehydration condensation reaction to obtain the quinacridone pigment. It is found that the obtained pigment composition has a significant effect of developing an extremely clear hue with a high chroma, as a colorant for a toner or for digital printing such as inkjet printing.SELECTED DRAWING: None
