PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of easily and precisely performing information processing using a real object.SOLUTION: On a play field 20 which is virtually set in a real space, an object area 102, which has a bottom plane identical to the play field and a predetermined height h. An image of the object area is generated, in which the object area 102 is represented on an image plane using the distance from the imaging surface as a pixel value. By comparing the image of the object area with a depth image corresponding to an actually picked up image 100, only the images of blocks 3c and 3b existing the object area 102 are extracted as an object to be detected or tracked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
