PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit the image data of a document intended by a user to an external device as soon as possible.SOLUTION: An image processing device has read means for reading the image of a document and generating image data, reception means for receiving a first scan instruction or a second scan instruction from an external device, first transmission means for reading the image of a document by the reading means when the first scan instruction is receive by the reception means, and transmitting the first image data of document thus generated to the external device, and second transmission means for transmitting the second image data, generated by reading the image of a document, to the external device when the second scan instruction is received by the reception means in a predetermined time for storing the first image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
