PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood collection tube managing system that can keep track of behaviors of blood collection tubes in a facility such as a hospital.SOLUTION: In a blood collection tube managing system, wireless tags in which individual specimen information associated with patient identifying information is assigned to each blood collection tube, the individual specimen information is stored in IC chips and behaviors of the blood collection tubes on a moving route are managed on the basis of information in the wireless tags. The blood collection tube managing system is equipped with a plurality of wireless tag reading devices arranged on the moving route of the blood collection tube and a managing device that monitors the motions of the blood collection tubes on the moving route on the basis of the individual specimen information read by the wireless tag reading devices and the reading time at which the individual specimen information is read.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
