PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system and a control method of the imaging device that can avoid the problem in which balls hit a regulation unit as driven for a long period of time and thus, an excellent tremor correction cannot be made.SOLUTION: An imaging system having an imaging device comprising an imaging optical system, an image pick-up element, and tremor correction means provided with respect to a universal head including a driving unit implementing an operation of panning or tilt, in which the tremor correction means has: a movable member that holds a part of optical elements constituting the imaging optical system, and displaces in a direction crossing an optical axis direction; an opposing member that opposes the movable member; at least three balls that rotate with the balls sandwiched between the opposing member and the movable member; and a regulation unit that is provided corresponding to each of the at least three balls, the imaging system has control means that causes the driving unit to implement the operation of the panning or tilt within a correction range of the tremor correction means, and causes the tremor correction means to make a correction of a tremor due to the operation of the panning or tilt.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
