PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head unit that can reduce adhesion of an adhesive to an area other than a joining face at the time of joining a head to a head holding member.SOLUTION: One or a plurality of heads 101 are joined to a head holding member 102, and the heads 101 and the head holding member 102 have: reference faces 110 and 120 that contact each other; first opposing faces 111 and 121 that oppose to each other and form a first space 131; and second opposing faces 112 and 122 that oppose to each other and form a second space 132 respectively. An interval of the second space 132 is made narrower than an interval of the first space 131, in a mounting direction. To the first space 131 and the second space 132 are joined the heads 101 and the head holding member 102 with filled adhesives 103 and 104 respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
