The invention relates to a height-adjustment device (1) for adjusting the height of an agitating device (2) in a fermenter (101) of a biogas plant (100), a biogas plant (100) comprising a fermenter (101), a supporting unit (10), a displacement unit (6), an agitating device (2) and a height-adjustment device, and method for operating an agitating device (2). The height-adjustment device comprises a housing device (4), a drum device (5) rotatably accommodated on the housing device (4) and a displacement element (6). In this case, the displacement element (6) is operatively connected to the drum unit (5) and to the agitating device (2), and, according to the rotation direction of the drum unit (5), the displacement element (6), can be rolled up onto the drum unit (5) in sections or can be unrolled from the drum unit (5), as a result of which the agitating device (2) can be displaced upwards or downwards. A fixing device (7) is further provided, which is suitable for and designed to fix the drum device (5) at least temporarily in order to prevent the displacement element (6) from unrolling if the displacement element (6) is not held tightly between the drum device (5) and the agitating device (2). |
