摘要 The invention provides a method for monitoring an inductive transmission link for living creatures, having an inductive transmission link and a safety zone which penetrates and surrounds the inductive transmission link locally, having the following steps: when the inductive transmission link is switched on, monitoring the safety zone for penetrating objects, and switching off the inductive transmission link when an object is detected penetrating the safety zone; when the inductive transmission link is switched off, monitoring the safety zone for the presence of a living creature within the safety zone, and disabling the inductive transmission link when a living creature is detected within the safety zone. The invention also relates to a charging system for inductively charging an electric vehicle having an inductive transmission link, a safety zone which penetrates and surrounds the inductive transmission link locally, an apparatus for monitoring the safety zone for living creatures having a control apparatus and sensors, and a device for making available the charging power which is actuated by the apparatus for monitoring the safety zone for living creatures, wherein the apparatus for monitoring the safety zone for living creatures carries out the above method.
