A communication system (1000) of the present invention is a communication system wherein a time synchronization packet to be used for performing a time synchronization between a master device (13) and a slave device (14) is relayed between a first radio relay device (21) and a second radio relay device (22) through radio communication. The first radio relay device (21) transmits a first radio frame in which a first pulse has been set; the second radio relay device (22) returns, in response to a detection of the first pulse from the received first radio frame, a second radio frame in which a second pulse has been set; the first radio relay device (21) detects the second pulse from the received second radio frame; and one of the two relay devices adjusts a correction value, which is included in the time synchronization packet, by use of a transfer delay time between the two radio relay devices, said transfer delay time being calculated on the basis of at least the setting of the first pulse and the detection of the second pulse. |
