Disclosed are a signal transmission method and device in an unauthorized carrier, the method comprising: a site determines one or more preset channels configured within a unit period, the unit period being obtained by dividing the unauthorized carrier in a time orientation, and a total time occupied by the one or more preset channels within the unit period is not more than a specified time length ratio of a unit period; the site transmits or receives a data signal and/or a reference signal in the preset channel. The present invention solves the problem in the related technology that an air interface negotiation mechanism cannot be realized between different operators, thus enabling mutual occupation of an unauthorized carrier by base stations, particularly base stations of different operators, enabling said mutual occupation with a high efficiency. |
