The present invention relates to a cable bead manufactured by a double-welded butt type and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method of the cable bead comprises: a step of manufacturing a stranded cable by twisting a core wire and an outer layer wire on the outer surface of the core wire; a step of butt-welding both ends of the stranded cable; a step of primarily and secondarily treating the butt-welded stranded cable with heat; and a step of grinding or cutting the stranded cable to allow the butt-welded part of the stranded cable to have a diameter 1.0 to 1.1 times larger than the diameter of the stranded cable.
