The present invention relates to a system and a method for automatically applying a discount coupon to a product in electronic commerce using a communication network. Since a discount coupon with a preset discount rate is automatically applied to a specific product sold in electronic commerce, sales of seasonal goods, which are sensitive to prices, are improved and an online shopping mall service can be efficiently managed. The system for automatically applying a discount coupon to a product in electronic commerce using a communication network comprises a computer which is configured to perform: a process in which the computer measures the number of accesses to a web server via a specific price comparison web page for a preset discount period; and a process in which the computer performs a service of automatically applying a discount coupon with a preset discount rate to a product when the measured number is greater than the number of direct accesses to the web server for the preset discount period. |
