PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate test necessity representing a degree of necessity of the execution of a test about a function to be achieved by a module included in a software program.SOLUTION: A responsible person technology value calculation part 110 calculates the responsible person technology value of a responsible person responsible for the development of an object module on the basis of the quantity of a failure which has occurred in each module. A change work density calculation part 120 calculates the change work density of the object module on the basis of a work period required for the change of the object module. A test necessity calculation part 140 calculates test necessity about the object module by using the responsible person technology value and the change work density.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
