PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of an engine stall when a vehicle travels in a battery-less manner at a cryogenic temperature.SOLUTION: When a vehicle travels in a battery-less manner and an HV unit water temperature Thv that is the temperature of cooling water flowing in a circulation flow passage of an HV unit cooling device which cools two motors and an inverter is lower than a threshold Tref for estimating that a working fluid of an engine is in a cryogenic state, a greater value Tset1 (smaller as an absolute value) than a normal value Tset2 is set as an output lower limit Tlim1 of a motor MG1 (S120). By so setting, it is possible to restrict torque for forcing down the rotating speed of the engine to be low and to suppress an engine stall which may occur due to the lack of an output from the engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
