PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe electrical potential treatment apparatus capable of improving bodily sensation and exerting an excellent healing effect by an output voltage application system.SOLUTION: An electrical potential treatment apparatus 1 includes a power supply circuit 2 connected to an AC power source 9, an inverter 3 connected to an output side of the power supply circuit 2 for generating an AC voltage of an arbitrary waveform, a transformer 6 for boosting the AC voltage generated by the inverter 3 to an output voltage, and a control device 4 for controlling the inverter 3. A waveform of the output voltage is periodically changed by controlling the inverter 3 by the control device 4. Thereby, bodily sensation is improved and an excellent healing effect can be exerted. When the frequency of the output voltage is lower than a predetermined reference frequency, a no-voltage time T12 is provided by every half period.
