PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a C ring with a spring capable of efficiently reflecting repulsive force of a coil spring to repulsive force of the C ring.SOLUTION: A C ring with a spring comprises a soft metal-based outer cover 3 having a C-shaped cross section, and metal coil springs 4 inserted into the outer cover 3. The coil spring 4 is configured such that a rectangular wire 6 having a rectangular-shaped cross section is wounded in a coil manner. With respect to the inner surface whole circumferential length of the outer cover 3 measured along a pressure-welding sealing schedule line pressure-welded to one of a pair of sealed planes 1, 1 opposite to each other in parallel and making sealing action, a coil spring outer cover contact total length at which an outer surface 4b of the coil spring 4 contacts with an inner surface 3a of the outer cover 3 in an unused state is set to 90-99%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
