The present invention concerns a haptic feedback control interface for a motor vehicle comprising: - a magnetorheological fluid module (3) comprising a movable element (6), a magnetorheological fluid (7) in contact with the movable element (6) and a magnetic field application unit (4) configured to apply a magnetic field to the magnetorheological fluid (7) and to modify the intensity of the magnetic field applied so as to generate haptic feedback to the user moving the movable element (6) by modifying the magnetic field applied to the magnetorheological fluid (7), and - a processing unit (18) linked to the magnetic field application unit (4), configured to control the magnetic field application unit (4) in order to index at least one position of the movable element (6) by generating a braking force on the movable element (6) according to a programmed force pattern (C1), characterised in that it comprises a stop sensor (20; 21; 26) for detecting a stop position (A; B) of the movable element (6), and in that the processing unit (18) is linked to the stop sensor (20; 21; 26) and configured to offset the programmed force pattern (C1) relative to the stop position (A; B) of the movable element (6).
