The purpose of the present invention is to provide a direct current (DC)-direct current (DC) converter capable of more effectively driving a light emitting diode (LED) by implementing high driving efficiency in a wide load condition. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the DC-DC converter for converting DC voltage comprises: a transformer for transferring energy stored in a primary side to a secondary side; a first switch element connected to a primary side coil of the transformer in series, and arranged between an input power source and the primary side coil; a main capacitor connected between the input power source and the primary side coil; a second switch element connected to the main capacitor and the primary side coil in parallel; a forward circuit including a first diode connected to a part of a secondary side coil of the transformer in series; and a flyback circuit including a second diode connected to the other part of the secondary side coil of the transformer in series. |
