<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attic space ventilation structure of a lean-to roof, which can effectively ventilate an attic space of the lean-to roof without making rainwater intrude into the attic space, even when a slanting rain such as a typhoon-induced rain falls. <P>SOLUTION: Drip cap sheet metal for preventing intrusion of rainwater includes two pieces, that is to say, lower drip cap sheet metal which is attached to the upstream side of a lean-to roof and upper drip cap sheet metal which covers the lower drip cap sheet metal. The drip cap sheet metal structurally prevents the rainwater from reaching an attic space, even when the rainwater intrudes from a gap between the lower drip cap sheet metal and the upper drip cap sheet metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
