The present invention comprises: an EPB switch having a first switch, a second switch, a third switch, a fourth switch, a first monitoring switch, and a second monitoring switch; and an electronic control unit operating an electronic parking brake in accordance with switching operation of the first switch, the second switch, the third switch, and the fourth switch. The electronic control unit monitors output of the first monitoring switch and the second monitoring switch to determine an error that a neutral gear is locked when the switching operation of the first switch, the second switch, the third switch, and the fourth switch is in a neutral mode. The present invention provides the electronic parking brake system, solidifying operation of the electronic parking brake when an error of being stuck on the neutral gear occurs in the EPB switch. |
