The present invention relates to an autostereoscopic 3D image display device and a driving method thereof, wherein the number of user is figured out through eye tracking and the opening of a switchable 3D filter is controlled according to the number of users. Accordingly, the autostereoscopic 3D image display device can provide a 3D image appropriate to the number of users, and improve resolution and brightness of the autostereoscopic 3D image display device by converting a multi-view image for multiple user into a two-view image if one user views. |
