<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus in which a whole apparatus can be configured to be small in size regardless of the length of a support member, even if its display device is formed to be large. <P>SOLUTION: A support mechanism 16 for supporting a rotary display device 4 so as to move in a vertical direction with respect to an apparatus main body 1 includes: a support member 18 that is extensible in a plurality of stages along the vertical direction while supporting the rotary display device 4; and a support attachment part 19 that retains the support member 18 in a display storage part 17 of the apparatus main body 1 in such a manner that the support member 18 can protrude and retract. Therefore, since the support member 18 can contract in the plurality of stages to reduce in whole length, the support member 18 can be compactly stored in the apparatus main body 1. Even if the length of the support member 18 is short at storage, the support member 18 can be drawn in the plurality of stages to be extended.
