The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling pests using an electrocution method. The apparatus comprises: a power supply unit providing a predetermined direct current voltage; a water detection sensor detecting water and generating and outputting a water detection signal; an oscillating voltage booster unit boosting the voltage supplied from the power supply unit into a predetermined high voltage; a high voltage output unit discharging high voltage current supplied from the oscillating voltage booster unit; and a controller unit outputting the high voltage current to the high voltage output unit by driving the oscillating voltage booster unit when the water detection signal is received from the water detection sensor. The apparatus electrocutes and eradicates the harmful insects, mosquito larvae and so on by discharging the predetermined high voltage current.
