In a fixing process, a fixing tape is wound from the outside of a laminated electrode body, on a first side surface of an electrode body, and on a second side surface which is the other surface of the first side surface, through a surface of a first end unit and a surface of a second end unit of both end units in the lamination direction of the electrode body. In a lamination process before the fixing process, a protective member for protecting a corner unit is arranged on the downstream side of the corner unit in the winding direction of the fixing tape, on at least the first side surface and the second side surface of the electrode body, formed with the electrode body. According to the present invention, provided is the manufacturing method of a secondary battery, having the laminated electrode body, which prevents the generation of a tilt of an electrode plate or the like due the winding of the fixing tape. |
