The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide an absorbent article comprising a web formed of a ceramic material which has good liquid diffusing ability, is hard to deform after absorbing liquid, and maintains liquid diffusing ability. The absorbent article of the present disclosure has the following configuration. The absorbent article comprises: a liquid-permeable top sheet; a liquid-permeable back sheet; and an absorber disposed between the liquid-permeable top sheet and the liquid-permeable back sheet. The absorbent article is characterized in that: the absorbent article comprises a web formed of a ceramic material; the web has a ridge-furrow surface having a plurality of ridges and a plurality of furrows in a fiber orientation direction of the ceramic material; and fibers of the ceramic material form a plurality of interlacing points. |
