<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water closet excellent in dirt discharge performance with less amount of wash water. <P>SOLUTION: A water closet 5 cleans a bowl surface 2 of a bowl 1 by using a swirl flow and discharges wash water through a drain port part 4 provided at a bottom 3 of the bowl 1.
