PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic protection component which improves the durability.SOLUTION: An electrostatic protection component includes: an element assembly 3 where multiple ceramic substrates 2 are laminated; and a discharge electrode 4A and a discharge electrode 4B which are formed in the element assembly 3 so as to be spaced away from each other and face each other. The discharge electrodes 4A, 4B respectively have body parts 11A, 11B extending along the longitudinal direction D1, and the body parts 11A, 11B have tips 12A, 12B in the longitudinal direction D1 and side edges 14A, 14B extending along the longitudinal direction D1. The discharge electrode 4A and the discharge electrode 4B are disposed so that the body part 11A and the body part 11B are located adjacent to each other in the lateral direction. The side edge 14A of the discharge electrode 4A and the side edge 14B of the discharge electrode 4B face each other in the lateral direction D2. Between the discharge electrode 4A and the discharge electrode 4B, electricity is discharged only between the side edge 14A and the side edge 14B. |
