The present invention relates to an electrode which can mitigate occurrence of a crack in an electrode active material layer even when external force is applied to the electrode active material layer and can separation from a collector even when a serious crack occurs, and to a secondary battery and a cable-type secondary batter including the electrode. The present invention provides a cable-type secondary battery comprising an electrode assembly, wherein the electrode assembly comprises one or more internal electrodes, a separation layer which is formed to surround outside surfaces of the internal electrodes and prevents the electrodes from being short-circuited, and a sheet-type external electrode which surrounds the separation layer and is formed by being spirally wound.
