Disclosed is a method for predicting an appointment place and an electronic device providing the method. The present electronic device is capable of comprising: a display unit which displays a screen that a schedule management service application is executed and an estimated appointment place; a storage unit which stores schedule information inputted in the application, data on a place and region, and a location history of a user; and a control unit which identifies an input of the schedule information, evaluating place data as a place name for a schedule of the schedule information, and estimates an appointment place as at least one place data having a high score of the evaluated place data.
