An objective of the present invention is to enhance safety of a secondary battery while improving penetration characteristics of a conductive member. The secondary battery according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly which includes first and second electrodes having a non-coated portion and a coated-portion, and a separator arranged between the first and second electrodes, wherein the electrode assembly is formed in a winding shape; a case which accommodates the electrode assembly therein; a first electrode tab and a second electrode tab which are connected to the first and second electrodes, respectively, and drawn out of the case; and a laminating tape which is attached to both sides of a tip portion located at a center of the electrode assembly and to both sides of a termination portion located at an outermost portion of the electrode assembly. The second electrode tab is connected to the non-coated portion of the second electrode toward the non-coated portion of the first electrode at the termination portion located at the outermost portion of the electrode assembly. The first electrode tab is connected to the coated portion of the first electrode to be closer to the coating portion than the second electrode tab at the termination portion located at the outermost portion of the electrode assembly. The secondary battery also includes an insulation laminating tape which prevents the second electrode tab from electrically touching the non-coated portion of the first electrode. |
