An air conditioning device for a vehicle is provided with: a heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the outside air and a refrigerant which flows through the inside of the heat exchanger; a blower disposed in front of or behind the heat exchanger and causing the outside air to pass through the heat exchanger; and a shroud having a cylindrical flange for covering the outer periphery of the blower. A water discharge opening for discharging water, which flows down from the heat exchanger, to the outside is formed in the bottom of the cylindrical flange at a position near the heat exchanger. In the air conditioning device, water which adheres to the heat exchanger is prevented from accumulating within the shroud of the blower, and as a result, the operational failure of the blower caused by the freezing of the accumulated water is prevented. |
