Home gateway containing Voip, PSTN and POTS interfaces

A voice communication system (100) for achieving a public switch telephone network, PSTN, communication and an internet communication is provided. The system comprises a host (110), a control device (130) and a telephone (150). The invention features advantages of both the PSTN and the internet, and further covers the natural shortcomings of each other.
