Disclosed are a medical image device and a method for providing a medical image. The medical image device comprises: an output unit and an image processing unit. The output unit displays a part of MR image arrangement, wherein a plurality of MR images obtained by imaging the magnetic resonance image of a heart is arranged in matrix, on a first area of a screen. The image processing unit displays a column representing one among the maximum relaxation device and the maximum systole in the MR image arrangement; and displays at least one mark among the MR image for the apex of the heart and the MR image for a base in each of column of the MR image arrangement of the first area. The columns of the MR image arrangement are arranged in a photographed time order. The rows of the MR image arrangement are arranged in a position order in the long-axis of the heart. The present invention extracts a clinically important image among a plurality of heart images, and shows a user the image at a glance.
