Provided is a relay device comprising: a movable contact spring having at least one movable contact; a fixed contact assembly having at least one fixed contact disposed in a position facing the movable contact; an actuator applying driving power to the movable contact spring to enable the movable contact to come into contact with the fixed contact; and a base plate supporting and fixing the movable contact spring, the fixed contact assembly, and the actuator, wherein the movable contact spring includes an elastic conducting plate having one end on which at least one movable contact is disposed and the other end fixed to the base plate, and performing a swing motion based on the fixed other end to cause the movable contact to come into contact with the fixed contact or be separated therefrom, and the actuator is configured as an electromagnetic block including a hollow bobbin, a coil wound around the bobbin, a core moved by current flowing in the coil, and a coil case accommodating the bobbin. The relay device may further include a core restoring unit generating a restoring force to return the core to its original position when current flowing in the coil is turned off. By providing a core pin that can be supported by a leaf spring as soon as it is separated from the core, on the lower side of the core, elastic restoring force quickly lifting the core without interruption of magnetic force can be provided. |
