PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a rotation type electronic component that generates no electrical faults such as short circuit between electrode patterns.SOLUTION: A substrate 10 for a rotation type electronic component is configured by forming a slide pattern 21 on an upper surface of an insulation substrate 11 and forming electrode patterns 23 on upper and lower surfaces of a pair of projections 13 protruded from one side of an outer periphery of the insulation substrate 11. The electrode patterns 23 are configured by applying silver coating to at least front ends of the projections 13 to form end surface formation patterns 235, and plating thereon. Excessive coating holding parts 25 storing excessive silver coating adhered to the surfaces of the projections 13 at formation of the end surface formation patterns 235, are provided between the adjacent electrode patterns 23 of the outer peripheral side of the insulation substrate 11 (joint parts of respective projections 13). |
